Why should I participate?

The goal of the survey is to understand where people are going and how they get there by collecting information on the trips made by each member of your household. The information you provide will be used to make informed decisions on future transportation planning and investment for roads, public transit, and other transportation facilities to make it easier to get where you need to go.

It is important that we gather information from many residents who use any mode of transportation - including drivers, public transit users, cyclists, and pedestrians - regardless of how many trips they make. It is equally important that we hear from residents who might not have made any trips on their travel day, as this data is essential to understanding travel patterns.

Starting in September 2024, survey invitation letters (including details about the survey) will be sent to randomly selected households.

Participants can choose to complete the survey online or by phone. The survey will take approximately 10-20 minutes depending on the size of your household and number of trips. It is extremely important all your data is entered completely and accurately.
